Just found out some interesting news. My hero, Julia Child, was a spy for the Office of Strategic Services in World War II. (wow!) Along with 24,000 other soldiers, actors, historians, and other assorted, distinguished persons, Child was officially outed by the U.S. National Archive as having served in this early version of the CIA.
